Fan Art

I don’t normally draw a lot of fan art. However, I couldn’t get this idea out of my head, as simple as it is. Here we have Marvel’s Loki with a character I created a long time ago named Aura. She’s half light elf, half fire demon. This is the first time I’ve drawn Aura in a side profile, and this also the first time I’ve drawn a human Loki. (I did a dragon version of him back in 2013) Please enjoy my nerdiness.

Where Fiction Becomes Reality

Ideas of Dragons

This Sketching Sunday brings a piece I made a couple months ago. It was an original design idea I had for awhile, and I wanted to use it as the header image when I procured a new theme for my blog. Sadly, the auto-crop function takes away much of the design. I’m still learning “tech stuff,” and I had no idea how to shrink this image to fit the recommended parameters. Acrylic and ink were used to create this piece.

I was rummaging through some old papers, and I found this, so I decided to put this up for Sketching Sunday. I drew this back in 2011 as a part of a bookmark contest for our local library. The theme was “Picture It,” so I went with the imaginings of a young lady as she read her superhero story. Unfortunately, I didn’t win or place. Nevertheless, I was proud of it. Especially with how the rocks turned out.
